CFA gets social: Meeting our newest class of fine arts Broncos

Posted by Courtney Clancy on Aug 1, 2017 5:02:13 PM

More than 300 new art, dance, music and theatre students will be joining us on campus this fall, but we just couldn’t wait any longer to welcome them to the College of Fine Arts community. Earlier this week, we mailed these fine arts Broncos their official welcome packet, including some CFA swag and a message to engage with us on social media.

Are you one of our incoming students? Complete your button set by joining the College of Fine Arts conversation on social media. Here’s how:

  • Take a photo with your new College of Fine Arts buttons and post it to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Are your buttons pinned onto your backpack or do they adorn your jean jacket? Did you take your buttons on a trip this summer? We want to see how - and where - you’re sporting your new CFA swag!

  • Include a caption. Introduce yourself, tell us what you’re excited about or maybe let us know what you’re up to this summer. Get creative! After all, you're about to be joining the most creative community on WMU's campus!

  • “Like” and/or “Follow” us, and don't forget to tag us in your post (@WMUFineArts). Check your privacy settings. In order for us to see your photo, your post or profile must be public.

If you’ve met the criteria above, you’ll have one more button waiting for you at Fall Welcome. We’ll also be sharing our favorite posts in the weeks leading up to Fall Welcome, so be sure to follow along! We can’t wait to meet you!
